Animalia Parc: a unique experience combining tree climbing and animal discovery
Just 13 minutes from our campsite, Animalia Parc is a nugget for enthusiasts looking for anaccrobranche coursein and aroundHourtin. Nestled in the heart of the Médoc forest, this animal and leisure park combines nature, animals and adventure. There’s a farm, a family zoo with over 250 animals from all over the world, inflatable games, mini-golf and, of course, an accrobranche zone in the heart of the pines.
The Animalia climbing park is suitable for all ages and abilities. Children aged 6 and over can try their hand at the 4 high ropes courses, while older children can tackle the more technical courses, with suspension bridges, zip lines and other aerial challenges. Bombannes treetop adventure park by UCPA: challenge and adrenalin on the agenda
For those who want to try out an accrobranche course with their feet almost in the sand, head for Bombannes, on the shores of Lac d’Hourtin. This park, run by UCPA (Union nationale des centers sportifs de plein air), offers 17 high ropes courses to suit all ages and tastes. Accessible to children from the age of 6, each course is progressive, safe and, above all, great fun.

Located in a protected natural area, this leisure park not far from Hourtin focuses on forest immersion, with 10 high adventure courses over a distance of 2000 m, giant zip lines, and even a “mini kids” area for children. With courses suitable for children from age 4 and more technical challenges for adults, thisaccrobranche parknear Hourtin is a must-see.

In Vendays-Montalivet, the Parc de l’Aventure is another excellent alternative fortree climbing near Hourtin, while discovering a wide range of outdoor activities.
