But that’s not all: the Atlantic Ocean and its beautiful sandy beaches are just a short distance from Les Ourmes campsite; it will take you just 15 minutes to get to the South beach and the Central beach.
Finally, you can also enjoy the forest during your family vacation. The state forest of Hourtin, just 25 minutes from our campsite, promises peaceful walks among the maritime pines.

Our campsite offers you two swimming options: Lac d’Hourtin and our water park.
Lac d’Hourtin, the largest freshwater lake in France, has 5 beaches: Plage de Piqueyrot, Plage du Port, Plage de la Banane, Plage de la Gracieuse and Plage de Lachanau. The first two are supervised in summer, so you and your children can enjoy a safe swim in the great outdoors. Bring a picnic lunch in the shade of the pine trees, and a few beach games to play on the sand.
After a day at the lake or visiting the Gironde, you can take a dip in our heated swimming pool. This aquatic area also features a heated paddling pool, a water play area with water jets, 2 slides and a solarium. Aquatic activities such as aquagym sessions are offered in the pool.
And of course, you can also enjoy a swim on the nearby beaches of our campsite located in the heart of the Gironde countryside.
