Our lakeside campsite in Gironde offers two swimming options: at Lac d’Hourtin and in our water park.
Lac d’Hourtin, the largest freshwater lake in France, has 5 beaches: Plage de Piqueyrot, Plage du Port, Plage de la Banane, Plage de la Gracieuse and Plage de Lachanau. The first two are supervised in summer, so you and your children can enjoy a safe swim in the great outdoors. Bring a picnic lunch in the shade of the pines, and a few beach games to play on the sand. After a day at the lake or visiting the Gironde, you can take a dip in our heated swimming pool. This aquatic area also features a heated paddling pool, an aquatic play area with water jets, 2 slides and a solarium. Aquatic activities such as aquagym sessions are offered in the pool.
